Dr. Stacy Mensah, DNP MSN RN has been in the healthcare field since 2005, starting out in Long-term health as a Certified Nursing Assistant, she began her nursing career at Hondros College of Nursing in 2010. She continued to further her education by obtaining her BSN in 2016 from Chamberlain College of Nursing, her Masters from Keiser University in 2019, and successfully defender her dissertation as a Keiser Graduate in 2021 and successfully obtained her Doctorate in Nursing Practice. As an immigrant from the small island of Jamaica, academia and caring for others were important. In addition to her nursing career, she obtained her Bachelors in Business Management and Associates in Healthcare Management from Ashworth College in 2005 and 2009.
Her nursing career ranges in Emergency, Trauma, Palliative, Home Health, and Ambulatory Surgery centers. As a Director of a prominent Surgery Center in Florida, she found her passion in compliance in 2016. Since then she has gained her experience as a Director/ Administrator and found great passion in ensuring compliance for her facility where she enjoys low deficiency to no deficiencies at her facilities. She has gained prominent experience in Risk Management, Life Safety, Infection Control, Accreditation, and many more. She enjoyed assisting fellow directors in compliance management. In 2019, she took the step of becoming a Healthcare Consultant in Compliance for ASC and OBLs in the State of Florida. She has successfully opened ASCs and OBLs in Florida and successfully launched her company, The Mensah Group, LLC in 2020. Her approach to consulting is new and takes into account standing behind each client and maintaining their compliance than providing them the tools and resources and leaving them alone.
